Junior Construction Materials Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine testing on soils, aggregates, and concrete
Prepare, label, log, and store laboratory samples
Operate balances, ovens, sieves, and compression machines
Document observations and results in approved systems
Collaborate on setup, cleaning, and laboratory organization
Requirements:
Laboratory testing experience with construction materials is an asset
Follow detailed methods with consistency and accuracy
Maintain traceable samples and dependable records
Safely lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
Understand laboratory health, safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures
Develop construction materials testing expertise at WSP through careful sample management, equipment operation, and reliable laboratory documentation.
