Health Safety Compliance Advisor

Guide environmental health and safety compliance across Northern Ontario with GFL Environmental, combining field inspections, training, and operational support. Travel represents 30%.

As a Health, Safety & Compliance Advisor, you will support Operations across multiple sites. The work includes EHS guidance, compliance verification, training coordination, and safety communications. You will help maintain programs and standards while Operations retain execution accountability.

• Provide day-to-day EHS guidance and oversight across GFL operations
• Conduct field audits and inspections to verify compliance
• Coordinate training, tracking, and field-level coaching
• Prepare EHS reports and summaries for operational decisions
• Communicate with regulatory officials during incident management and reporting

• Three to five-plus years in a similar on-site EHS role
• Experience in Waste Management, Transportation, or Mining
• Health and Safety degree, diploma, or certification preferred
• Proficiency with Google software and safety reporting software
• Strong organization, time management, and competing-priority skills
