Lead laboratory quality operations at Hydro Extrusions in Mississauga, applying metallurgy knowledge, testing accuracy, and compliance expertise daily.
This permanent supervisory position oversees the on-site mechanical and chemical testing laboratory. You will manage daily functions, interpret tensile testing requirements, and maintain accurate certification processes. The work requires analytical aptitude, metrology experience, and strong understanding of quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage labor deployment and daily laboratory functions
- Ensure accurate laboratory KPI reporting against business standards
- Auto-sign certifications and verify compliant testing results
- Coordinate equipment calibration, cleaning, and preventive maintenance
- Audit laboratory processes and address testing failures
- Three to five years manufacturing quality program experience
- Preferably experience with ISO 9001 quality programs
- Mathematical and analytical aptitude
- Metrology training or experience
- Quality Engineer or Quality Technician certification preferred
