Engage in impactful RNA research as a Research Associate at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Collaborate in a vibrant team dedicated to drug discovery and RNA biology advancements.
This position will have you leading research initiatives within the Hargrove Group, focusing on RNA biology and druggable RNA structures. You will coordinate with a talented team, develop experimental techniques, and share insights through scientific reports. Mentoring student researchers and facilitating lab functions are also essential responsibilities of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate RNA biology research projects
• Develop and execute experimental protocols
• Analyze and report on research findings
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate research students
• Assist in writing research protocols and grant applications
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field
• At least 2 years of research experience in RNA biology
• Proficiency in analyzing biology data
• Strong mentoring and teaching skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Drive significant advancements in RNA research at UofT Mississauga.
