In this full-time position, you'll be at the forefront of conducting research that influences the strategic framework for Skilled Trades Ontario. Using your expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, you'll assess labor market trends and prepare economic reports that support decision-making. Engaging with team members and external stakeholders will enhance the quality of research outcomes and strengthen policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze economic impacts and regulatory trends affecting skilled trades
• Design and conduct surveys to gather relevant data
• Prepare detailed reports for policy recommendations
• Maintain research databases and data integrity
• Respond to management requests with accurate data analysis
Requirements:
• Advanced statistics experience in a research context
• Proficient with Power BI and other data software
• Degree in economics, public policy, or labor studies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in managing research projects
