Responsibilities

• Arrange product according to planogram.
• Establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
• Maintain adequate stock levels.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
• Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
• Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
• Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Maintain inventory of stored material.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Requisition materials and supplies.

• Education:
  
  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience:
  
  2 to less than 3 years.
• Work setting:
  Urban area.
• Retail business experience.
