Position
Crafters Licensed Optician – Full‑Time.
Responsibilities- Welcome all customers and set expectations.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology accurately despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, and provide solution‑driven outcomes.
- Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Robust customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Sales skills and ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS systems, computers and calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
Pay range: $25.10 – $34.98 per hour. Compensation may also include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan to complement a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
