  • MAC Beauty Artist Key Responsibilities
    :

    The primary responsibility is customer service and sales through exceptional communication skills and artistic ability. In addition, this position will maximize sales potential, team building and maintenance of impeccable customer service and presentation standards.

    Customers

  • Provides quality customer service through consistently demonstrating Travelers Best Friend selling techniques.
  • Ability to professionally sample products as applicable.
  • Inspiring customers to express their individual beauty by providing them with a complete shopping experience, including enthusiastic, helpful assistance and product knowledge of fragrance requirements.
  • Provide friendly and informed information about the brand as well as the full range of products available in the store.
  • People

  • Communicates Customer and product feedback/issues to Manager.
  • Inform Management of any Health & Safety Issues
  • Sales & Operations

  • Studies the skills certification requirements and completes as many skill sets as appropriate.

  • Actively participates in MAC training sessions and collaborated store mandatory training sessions.

  • Actively participates in MAC themed days and events and new product launches.

  • Practices good counter practices.

  • Maintains quality store visual merchandising and cleanliness standards, ensuring merchandised and displayed as per brand standards.

  • Assists in ensuring store inventory on-hand is correct and assists with inventory counts.

  • Maintains store and brand image by adhering to dress guidelines.

  • Ensures work area is kept clean and organized.

  • Practices safety consciousness at all times

  • Beauty Advisor 

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of beauty sales experience.
  • Must have makeup artistry certification.
  • Minimum 1-year cosmetic/makeup application experience.

  • Have a portfolio that showcases makeup work and demonstrates skills and versatility

  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with difficult customers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be completely reliable.

  • Must meet expectations of current position and no performance issues on file.

  • Flexible availability including being available to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as required.
