Retail Store Manager In Training

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time  Manager in Training  to join our client’s retail operations team in Mississauga, ON. This is a hands‑on leadership role designed for an individual who is ready to wear multiple hats, lead by example, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day store operations.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech‑savvy, highly organized, and calm under pressure, with a strong willingness to step up and support all aspects of the business.

Pay Rate: $60,000 – $75,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations including facilities, cleanliness, inventory, and security systems; report issues as needed

Manage inventory levels, organize stock, place orders, and implement theft reduction strategies

Support sales growth through merchandising, promotions, and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships

Create and manage staff schedules, support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management

Ensure compliance with company policies including health & safety and workplace standards

Maintain store systems (POS, internet, security) and troubleshoot issues

Handle daily financial activities including cash management, reporting, and deposits

Qualifications and Skills

5–7 years of retail management experience

Previous experience managing teams (multi‑location experience an asset)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Tech‑savvy with experience in POS and retail systems

Valid driver’s license

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
