Mississauga, ON L4X 2B2 (On site)
Salary: $37.50 per hour, 44 hours per week.
Employment type:
Permanent, Full time.
Shift options:
Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available. Starts as soon as possible.
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers
- Grind meats
- Train meat cutters
- Make special sausages
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
- Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
- Band saw
- Manual cutting utensil
- Power grinder
- Salami mixer and cooker
- Sausage machine
- Slicing machine
- Work under pressure
- Tight deadlines
- Fast-paced environment

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5 years or more in a similar role.
