About the Role We are seeking a results-driven Customs Brokerage Sales Executive to expand the company’s Canadian customs clearance and bonded warehousing client base. This role focuses on generating new business across B2B and B2C eCommerce importers, international brands, freight forwarders, and logistics buyers. You will promote customs clearance solutions (CLVS, LVS, IID, F-Type), bonded warehouse services, and FTZ storage strategies while building strong relationships and guiding clients through a streamlined, efficient onboarding process.

This is a high-impact role for someone who understands brokerage, bonded warehousing, and the logistics ecosystem—and who thrives on building pipelines, closing deals, and delivering value to clients.
What You’ll Do
  • Generate new business for customs brokerage services (CLVS, LVS, IID, F-Type).
  • Sell bonded warehouse solutions for short-term storage, transloading, and deconsolidation.
  • Present FTZ warehousing options to importers looking for duty deferral or exemption.
  • Engage importers, 3PLs, and logistics buyers through outbound sales, networking, events, and targeted outreach.
  • Lead warehouse tours and explain service capabilities and clearance workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with brokerage and operations teams for seamless client onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.).
  • Stay informed on CBSA regulations, CARM developments, FTZ programs, and bonded warehouse policies.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and deliver customized solutions.
  • Prepare competitive quotes and proposals aligned to customer requirements.
  • Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Report to sales leadership on activity, performance, and opportunities.
  • About You You bring a strong track record in logistics or brokerage sales, with the confidence and credibility to speak with importers, freight forwarders, and eCommerce decision-makers. You enjoy building relationships, solving client challenges, and driving growth. You’re a great match if you have:
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in customs brokerage and/or bonded warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of CBSA clearance types (CLVS, LVS, IID, F-Type).
  • Demonstrated success closing service-based or logistics sales.
  • Familiarity with CW Bonded Warehousing and FTZ programs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret customs regulations and explain compliance requirements.
  • Comfort hosting facility tours and engaging clients in person.
  • Self-motivated mindset with strong pipeline management skills.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.) is an asset.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is an advantage but not required.
