Bilingual; F​/E) Business Development Representative- Culinary

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to support customers across Canada, with dedicated coverage for all of Canada. Based in Mississauga, this is a culinary-focused customer success and inside sales role.

You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, qualifying inbound and marketing-generated leads, conducting virtual product presentations, supporting the field sales team, and building strong relationships throughout the customer journey. The successful candidate combines professional culinary experience with strong communication, presentation and customer-engagement skills.

• 5+ years of professional culinary or commercial kitchen experience, ideally as a Chef, Commis, Cook 1, Cook 2 in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Bilingual French and English required.
• Restaurant, catering, hospitality or broader food service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable engaging with chefs, operators and executive-level decision makers.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and communicating through phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong customer orientation with an interest in sales, customer success and commercial kitchen technology.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, results-driven and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage a high volume of leads and follow-up activity.
• Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred.
• Cold-calling or inside-sales experience is an asset.
• Bachelor's degree is an asset.

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound and marketing-generated leads.
• Qualify leads from website inquiries, marketing campaigns, trade shows, social media and other sources.
• Research prospects and conduct discovery through phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
• Speak with chefs, operators and food service decision makers to understand their kitchen operations, challenges and equipment requirements.
• Conduct virtual product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Invite qualified prospects to online webinars and in-person cooking demonstrations.
• Schedule qualified appointments for Regional Sales Managers and the field sales team.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Re-engage existing customers to identify upsell and total-kitchen-solution opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and continuous customer, lead and opportunity information within Salesforce CRM.
• Customer Success & After-Sales
• Build long-term customer relationships through consistent engagement and follow-up.
• Follow up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate additional support when required.
• Coordinate and book customer product training.
• Capture customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience.
• Support general sales and marketing initiatives as required.

• Competitive Base salary between $65k / $70k. Bonus plan based upon KPI and Company performance
