Build lasting dealership partnerships for Assurant VPS using automotive sales, prospecting, and relationship management expertise. Provide consistent in-person support across the assigned territory.
This Business Development Manager supports dealer satisfaction while developing new partnerships and revenue opportunities. You will coach dealership staff on F&I products, sales, and claims, collaborate with internal departments, and address account needs promptly. The position also requires monitoring performance, margins, pricing, and product opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain communication with existing and prospective dealer partners
- Schedule dealership visits, prepare agendas, and coordinate coaching
- Ensure dealership staff receive ongoing product and claims education
- Develop growth plans aligned with dealer sales goals
- Analyze product mix and maximize margin opportunities
- Five or more years of automotive industry experience
- In-depth automotive F&I product knowledge considered ideal
- Experience in F&I Dealer Services or automotive B2B sales
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams, and Zoom
Use dealer services sales, F&I coaching, and account development skills to strengthen Assurant VPS customer relationships.
