Security Operations Centre Operator

Join Trillium Health Partners as an Operator in the Security Operations Centre at Mississauga Hospital. This full-time position involves monitoring security systems and responding to emergencies around the clock.

Reporting to the Manager of Security & Fire Life Safety, you will serve as the main contact for security operations. Your skills in multitasking, communication, and assessing priorities will be crucial to ensure an effective response to incidents while managing surveillance systems. The role requires working rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and respond to emergency calls

• Dispatch security personnel to incidents as needed

• Maintain detailed records of incidents and actions taken

• Facilitate communication between teams and emergency services

• Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate when necessary

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma required

• 1-2 years of Emergency Services Communications training preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with security systems and technologies

• Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively
