Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional – Corporate Guest Service in Mississauga, Ontario.

Mississauga, ON

Type:  Full time

Pay Rate:  $21.00 per hour

Shifts:

Monday – Wednesday (8:00 am – 8:00 pm);
Thursday (8:30 am – 12:00 pm)

Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Professional – Corporate Guest Service to join our team at a commercial site in Mississauga, ON. This position involves providing security with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. This role requires individuals who have prior experience working in corporate environments with good communication skills and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

Site Surveillance & Patrol:  Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.

Visibility & Coverage:  Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.

Access Control:  Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.

Communication:  Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.

Emergency Response:  Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.

Incident Documentation:  Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.

Site & Asset Protection:  Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.

Compliance with Safety Procedures:  Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on‑site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.

General Security Duties:  Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required).

Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Recent graduates and early‑career professionals are encouraged to apply.

Experience in corporate reception, front desk operations, concierge, hospitality, customer service, administration, access control, or visitor management is an asset.

Ability to commit to a minimum one‑year assignment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, basic Excel/data entry, and digital logging/reporting systems.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills suitable for a corporate executive office environment.

Clear, confident, and professional speaking ability for phone, email, and visitor‑facing communication.

Polished corporate presentation, strong customer‑service demeanor, and professional appearance.

Reliable attendance, punctuality, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
