Emergency Shelter Security Professional

Join Allied Universal as a full-time Security Professional - Emergency Shelter in Mississauga. This role emphasizes surveillance, access control, and emergency response to maintain safety and security.

In this position, you will be responsible for safeguarding residents and staff at a commercial site in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate possesses experience in high-risk environments, including shelters, hospitals, or long-term care facilities. You will enforce access protocols, conduct patrols, and ensure effective communication with fellow security personnel throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site surveillance and regular patrols

• Enforce access control for authorized personnel

• Maintain clear communication via radio

• Respond to emergencies and report incidents

• Complete incident documentation and logs

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in high-risk environments

• Valid Ontario Security License required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Eligible to work 40 hours a week in Canada

• First Aid and CPR certification
