Loss Prevention Lead at SportChek

Lead loss prevention efforts at Sport Chek as a Store Loss Prevention Lead. Engage with customers and employees to ensure a secure shopping environment on the sales floor.

This role reports to the Store General Manager and focuses on minimizing internal and external losses. You will actively coach staff on acknowledgement responsibilities while maintaining vigilance in high-risk areas of the store. Your work ensures compliance with all LP standards, helping cultivate an effective safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor high-risk hours as a loss prevention presence

• Ensure product security following LP tagging standards

• Log incidents and communicate with the Regional LP Manager

• Coach staff on current LP Hotspots and responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers to enhance store safety

Requirements:

• 6+ months of retail experience preferred

• 12+ months in loss prevention or security

• High School Diploma required

• Valid CPR and First Aid training needed

• Physically capable of lifting heavy containers
