Division Chief of Fire Prevention

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fire prevention and public education programs

• Enforce fire prevention by-laws and codes

• Lead fire safety inspections and compliance checks

• Manage fire investigations for incidents

• Supervise and evaluate fire prevention staff

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in relevant field

• Minimum of 5 years in Fire Prevention

• Fire Inspector II Certification required

• Experience with FPPA and Building Code Act

• Valid Class “G” Driver's Licence
