Position: Security Professional for Homeless Shelter

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility while collaborating closely with shelter staff. Candidates ideally have experience working in high-risk or supportive housing environments, equipped with a valid security license. Your proactive approach to conflict resolution and emergency response will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control entry to the shelter and manage visitor logs

• Engage in conflict resolution effectively

• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed

• Conduct regular security patrols to deter incidents

• Report incidents and follow up with necessary documentation

Requirements:

• 1-2 years in Shelter or high-risk environments

• Valid Ontario Security License required

• 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or GED or work equivalent

• Certification in First Aid and CPR
