Empower individuals with intellectual disabilities as a Dedicated Support Worker at Community Living Mississauga. This full-time position focuses on individualized service coordination and support.
Since 1955, Community Living Mississauga has championed the rights and needs of those with intellectual disabilities. In this permanent role, you will work closely with families to establish goals and facilitate access to community resources while promoting independence and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual service coordination support
• Direct referrals to relevant community services
• Assist families during crisis situations
• Collaborate with stakeholders for effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with established service standards
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services or similar
• 1 year experience in related support roles
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (Class G or G2)
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
