Position Profile
Reporting to the Director of Client Services and Wellness, you will guide the work of a team of mental health and addictions clinicians. You will manage all clinical services at Our Place Peel, including crisis response services, as well as individual and group clinical interventions. You will work with the Director to implement new clinical practice standards based on Assertive Community Treatment principles and Housing First for Youth best practices.
You will drive effective service coordination for youth with other organizational units, including central intake, shelter, housing, and case management.
Working within a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and harm reduction framework, Clinical Services supports youth in achieving stability and long-term health and well-being. The Clinical Services Manager empowers and leads staff in delivering client-centered clinical supports that lead to successful outcomes in reducing the risk of homelessness and improve quality of life for youth in Peel Region. Clinical Services are provided at all organizational sites, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, and the community.

Role Overview
Lead programs and services. Using Assertive Community Treatment, Housing First for Youth, and Harm Reduction principles and best practices, you will develop and manage the delivery of clinical and addiction services and supports for youth (ages 16-24) receiving services from Our Place Peel. Overseeing a team of clinicians, you will shape and evolve the clinical team's vision, philosophy, and objectives while managing projects that align internal operations with the evolving landscape of clinical care for youth experiencing homelessness.
Programs in this portfolio include the following:
Crisis response services - You will oversee the delivery of rapid crisis response and triage to situations at shelter sites involving youth experiencing a mental health and/or addictions crisis
Clinical interventions - Based on the principles and best practices of the Assertive Community Treatment model, you will assess, design, and operationalize services that prioritize flexibility and low-barrier access as the primary goals of clinical interventions
Ongoing Quality Improvement:
You will continuously find ways to advocate, navigate, and eliminate barriers to rapid access to youth support and services related to their wellbeing, mental health, and addictions care.
Provide team leadership. You will lead clinical team meetings, rounds, and group supervision, fostering a cohesive multidisciplinary team that delivers high-quality care. You will provide clinical and administrative supervision to direct reports, supporting best practices and offering consultation across Our Place Peel programs and at all organizational sites.
