In this full-time position at Peel Addiction Assessment & Referral Centre, you will handle counselling and case management duties for clients involved in justice-related programs. By closely working with the Brampton Drug Treatment Court, you'll provide essential support and interventions, fostering sustainable recovery pathways for individuals facing unique challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs through intake and apply treatment planning

• Deliver ongoing counselling and comprehensive case management

• Address crisis situations and promote healthy relationships

• Participate in multidisciplinary consultations for holistic care

• Maintain client files in adherence to legal and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• 2 years’ experience in addictions counselling or related roles

• Understanding of harm reduction principles

• CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
