In this Relief position, you will serve residents at Embrave's shelters by conducting assessments, offering emotional support, and connecting them with resources to ensure their safety and well-being. This role embraces a feminist, anti-oppressive approach to advocacy and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop safety plans for all residents

• Maintain detailed case management and documentation

• Assist with housing searches and transitional support

• Support residents through crisis and conflict resolution

• Collaborate with community stakeholders for comprehensive support

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualifications

• At least three years of social work experience

• Familiarity with issues of gender-based violence

• Strong skills in crisis management and counselling

• Current certification in First Aid and CPR
