Job Description Department OverviewCredit Platform - Small Business Banking Agile Release Train (SBB ART) is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing digital credit card application experiences for TD Small Business Banking customers. Our focus is on delivering seamless, efficient, and innovative solutions that streamline the credit card application process. By leveraging modern platforms and integrating advanced decisioning engines, we aim to increase application volumes, improve approval rates, and provide real‑time adjudication for our customers.
Our initiatives support the migration of legacy manual processes to fully digital, end‑to‑end solutions, ensuring a faster and more user‑friendly experience for business clients.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and UI components.
- Implement and own key application flows across UI, BFF services, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
- Ensure high‑quality code, support defect triage, and contribute to production readiness.
- Work closely with QE and partner teams to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Support migration of legacy processes to modern, digital solutions.
You’ll be expected to work primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.
Job Requirements- 6+ years relevant experience
- Strong hands‑on experience in Java (Spring Boot or similar), REST API development, and front‑end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Experience with API‑driven integrations
- Familiarity with database design, ORM (e.g., Hibernate), and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of modules, drive execution, and work with minimal oversight.
- Strong engineering discipline and collaborative mindset.
