Senior Python Developer - Vice President

Job Overview

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role focuses on leading application systems analysis and programming activities within the Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team, partnering with onshore and offshore teams to design and deliver technology solutions for the credit risk front‑office.

• Research and resolve complex issues, escalating as appropriate.
• Hands‑on development experience in Python.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and other containerized platforms.
• Effectively interact and collaborate with the development team.
• Communicate development progress to the Project Lead.
• Work with developers onshore, offshore, and matrix teams to implement business solutions.
• Investigate possible bug scenarios and production support issues.
• Recent experience with modern Python development using large language models, Model Context Protocol, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience building an enterprise‑scale, highly componentized application using Python and FastAPI.
• Experience developing applications in the financial services industry is preferred.
