Required Experience

Data Modeling & Schema Design:
Expertise in designing flexible schemas, understanding when to embed vs. reference documents to optimize performance.

Query Optimization:
Proficiency in writing optimized Mongo

DB queries, utilizing indexes, and leveraging explain plans.

Aggregation Framework:
Strong ability to create multi-stage pipelines for complex data processing.

Programming Proficiency:

Experience with driver-specific languages (Node.js, Python, Java).

Mongo

DB Tools:

Experience with Mongo

DB Atlas, Compass, and Ops Manager.

CRUD Operations:
Deep knowledge of create, read, update, and delete actions in No

SQL.

Technical Proficiency:
Deep understanding of Mongo

DB architecture, CRUD operations, and the Aggregation Framework.

Data Modeling:
Expertise in mapping complex data requirements to flexible No

SQL structures.

Programming

Skills:

Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java) and Mongo

DB drivers.

Cloud

Experience:

Familiarity with deploying Mongo

DB on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Mongo

DB Atlas.

Analytical

Skills:

Strong ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, analyze query plans, and optimize slow queries.

Roles & Responsibilities

Database Design and Modeling:
Designing efficient, scalable JSON/BSON schema models for document-oriented storage, tailored for application requirements.

Query Optimization:
Developing and tuning complex queries, indexes, and aggregation pipelines to enhance data retrieval performance.

Performance Tuning:
Monitoring database health, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing performance in production environments.

Data Integrity and Security:
Implementing security measures, managing user permissions, and ensuring data integrity across clusters.

Infrastructure Management:
Configuring and deploying replica sets and sharding for high availability and horizontal scaling.

Application Integration:
Working with backend engineers to integrate Mongo

DB with programming languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.

Documentation:
Maintaining detailed documentation for database architecture, schemas, and API procedures.

Salary Range - CA $ 100,000 - CA $ 130,000 Per Year
