Responsibilities

Collaborate with front end designers and product designers already embedded in the team

Participate in UI redesign for multiple applications (Powertrain AI Code Expert, Smart Search, Smart

FMA, etc.)

Ensure intuitive, easy to use interfaces for multiple engineering personas (Systems, Powertrain, Safety, MBSE engineers)

Build and modernize UIs using React and Ford Design Standards

Support a unified UI/UX experience across the VSSE ATE ecosystem

Develop and re-architect backend services to conform to the VSSE ATE standard pattern

Implement multi-agent / agentic architectures where relevant (supervisor-based orchestration)

Build scalable, production‑ready services aligned to Ford standards

Enable application-to-application interoperability using MCP architecture (clients & servers)

Implement API services and register in Apigee as required

Ensure adherence to IT standards and procedures. Integrate and comply with: 42

Crunch (API security), Sonar Qube (code quality), FOSSA (open source compliance)

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with React JS

5-8 years of overall software development experience

Strong understanding of modern front‑end architecture and design systems

Experience with API design, security, and compliance tools

Compensation
Expected compensation ranges from CAD 65/hr to CAD 70/hr.
