Summary:

Responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting payment processing solutions using IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM). The developer works closely with business analysts, architects, and integration teams to deliver payment and transaction processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities   Develop and customize applications using IBM FTM.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Configure FTM workflows, state machines, and payment processing rules.
Design and implement integrations with external systems using APIs, MQ, Web Services, and messaging platforms.
Support payment message processing standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, NACHA, and other payment networks.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with business, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills   Strong experience with IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM).
Knowledge of IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), MQ, and WTX.
Java/J2EE development experience.
Understanding of SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, and JSON.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Knowledge of payment processing and banking systems.
Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
Preferred Skills   

Experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH/NACHA, RTP, or other payment standards.
Banking and financial services domain knowledge.
Exposure to Dev Ops tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience  Typically 5–8+ years of software development experience.
3–5+ years of hands‑on IBM FTM implementation/support experience.
Education  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
