Technology Lead - Full Stack Developer

Senior UI / Full Stack Lead

Infosys is seeking a Senior UI / Full Stack Lead for a critical enterprise application undergoing transition. The role involves interfacing with key business and technical stakeholders and applying expertise across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – requirements analysis, application architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Interface with business and technical stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Lead modernization initiatives and provide technical direction to the team.
• Create high‑level and detailed design artifacts for UI‑centric and full‑stack solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration between UI and backend services.
• Drive knowledge transition from existing SMEs and manage hand‑off of knowledge.
• Deliver high‑quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Support production environments and manage application transitions and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor and guide teams of 3 to 5 developers.
• Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum practices and strong communication across geographically distributed teams.
• Work at a computer for extended periods and travel as required by client and project needs.

• Located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or willing to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu as specified.
• At least 4 years of IT experience focused on UI and full‑stack application development.
• Hands‑on expertise with modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, or equivalent) and strong proficiency in Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

• Strong backend development experience with Java/J2EE, Java8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
• Prepared for occasional or extensive travel.

• Experience leading end‑to‑end design and delivery of UI‑driven enterprise applications.
• Architectural guidance, design decisions, and code quality experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud‑based application deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD and Dev Ops practices, including Git, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift.
• Solid understanding of application transitions, knowledge transfer, and production support.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating across distributed teams.
• UI modernization and legacy modernization initiatives experience.
• Strong knowledge of unit and automation testing for UI and backend layers (JUnit, Mockito, UI test frameworks).
• API testing and documentation using Postman and Swagger.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as App Dynamics, Grafana, Kibana, or Elastic Search.
• Experience mentoring teams of 3 to 5 developers.
• Domain experience in utilities or regulated enterprise environments.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in Ontario: $92,740 to $123,375.
