Position: Senior Engineer for AI Systems Integration
Be a key player at Git Lab as a Senior Backend Engineer focused on AI systems within the Agent Tools team. Your contributions will shape how AI agents engage with Git Lab’s product ecosystem.

The role involves significant ownership of technical features, ensuring that AI tools are deeply integrated into the software delivery process. Mastery in Ruby on Rails, REST, and GraphQL is required, along with a collaborative spirit to engage with product management and engineering teams. Your efforts will enhance Git Lab's adaptability in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Agentic Tools features on the Git Lab backend

• Contribute to defining product requirements with various teams

• Implement and review REST and GraphQL APIs ensuring performance

• Strengthen testing frameworks, including RSpec for quality

• Participate in on-call efforts to resolve production challenges

Requirements:

• Significant experience with Ruby on Rails in production settings

• Comfort with both Python and Vue front-end frameworks

• Expertise in API design focused on scalability and reliability

• Advanced SQL skills and understanding of PostgreSQL

• Strong analytical skills for optimizing application performance
