PIMCO is seeking an experienced Java Back-End Developer to bolster its Short-Term Desk Technology team. In this role, you will modernize platforms and develop cloud-native services while ensuring collaboration with front office stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable microservices with Java 21

• Develop functionality while evolving existing components

• Apply TDD and CI/CD best practices

• Contribute to cloud migration and build containerized services

• Work with AWS to transition workloads from legacy systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Java (preferably 17+; ideally 21)

• Familiarity with microservices and REST APIs

• Exposure to AWS or cloud concepts
