Technical Consultant

Position: Technical Consultant at Finastra
Elevate your career as a Technical Consultant with Finastra, a pioneer in financial services software. This role focuses on implementing features and customizations using the Finastra Essence toolkit API.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will report to the Regional Head of Services Delivery. Your primary responsibilities include implementing new features, conducting upgrades, and developing solutions that meet client needs. You’ll work closely with regional teams and mentor junior consultants while respecting high coding standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement specified new features and system upgrades

• Analyze architecture for Finastra Essence implementations

• Write Technical Specification Documents for offshore teams

• Develop toolkit extensions using Finastra Essence API

• Investigate defects and propose solutions

Requirements:

• Experience in financial services or banking technologies

• Strong programming skills in C/C++/C#/Java

• Knowledge of SQL on Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in spoken and written English
