Site DCS Technologist Position

Position: Staff Site DCS Technologist Position
Join Cenovus as a Staff Site DCS Technologist, focusing on Level 1 support for on-site industrial control systems at our Sunrise asset. This full-time role combines technical expertise with critical system maintenance responsibilities.

In this position, you will work closely with other teams to ensure the ongoing health of DCS, PLC, and SIS hardware and software.

Your role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing the integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the health monitoring of control systems

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in real-time

• Support documentation procedures for OT tasks

• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams

• Participate in disaster recovery and emergency planning

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience

• Proficiency in DeltaV and Rockwell control systems

• Working knowledge of SAP or Service-Now

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Authorization to work in Canada
