Senior Java Engineer - Hybrid Position

Become a Senior Java Engineer focusing on deployment security in a hybrid role based in Mississauga. Design and develop microservices with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes to enhance organizational security.

This position offers the chance to work with a tier-1 financial institution to strengthen its deployment security platform. Collaborate with SREs and Dev Ops engineers while managing the full microservices lifecycle from coding to production. Mentor mid-level engineers and drive crucial technical decisions within your squad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices with Java 17+ and Spring Boot

• Deploy applications on Kubernetes in AWS cloud

• Build CI/CD integrations using Git Hub Actions for security

• Manage the complete lifecycle: coding, testing, deployment

• Mentor 3 to 4 mid-level engineers in best practices

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Java development (Java 11/17+)

• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Open Shift

• Strong understanding of distributed systems

• Must possess valid Canadian work authorization
