Position: Java Developer for CitiDirect Payments
Citi is searching for a Java Backend Developer for its Payments Modernization initiative. Leverage your Core Java and microservices skills to enhance Citi Direct's architecture.

This role supports technology modernization while focusing on payments. As an Assistant Vice President, you will design, develop, and maintain robust Java backends while integrating cutting-edge technologies. Your work will involve building scalable services and ensuring a high-performance payment processing system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Java-based backend services

• Implement microservices with Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• Create event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka

• Optimize MongoDB and Oracle database queries

• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of Java development experience

• Proficient in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot

• Expertise in microservices and event-driven architecture

• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and Oracle databases

• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles
