Position: CitiDirect Java Developer for Payments Architecture
Join Citi as a Java Developer, specializing in Payments Modernization. This full-time Assistant Vice President position involves enhancing Citi Direct’s payment solutions using Core Java and modern frameworks.

In this role, you will contribute to a global leader's payment infrastructure. With a minimum of three years in Java development, you will be tasked with creating scalable backend services and implementing microservices. Your expertise in tools such as Apache Kafka and MongoDB will be critical in shaping our payment architecture and ensuring reliability across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance Java backend services for payments

• Execute microservices architecture via Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

• Utilize Apache Kafka for event-driven systems design

• Work on schema design and query optimization in MongoDB

• Maintain robust testing practices using JUnit and Mockito

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Java backend development

• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and microservices

• Experience with event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka

• Skilled in MongoDB schema design and performance tuning

• Proficient in RESTful API development
