Senior Playwright Automation Engineer

We are hiring for a Senior Playwright Automation Engineer
. The role focuses on automation testing using Playwright, API testing, end-to-end testing, regression, and integration testing.
A strong fit will have hands-on Playwright experience, API testing expertise, and a good understanding of the insurance domain, particularly Underwriting, Policy, or Claims.

What you bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright as the primary automation testing tool.
• Experience with API testing using REST, SOAP, Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Good understanding of the insurance domain, preferably Underwriting, Policy, or Claims.
• Experience with end-to-end and regression testing cycles.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
• Experience identifying, logging, triaging, and prioritizing defects.
• Ability to collaborate with development, business, and onsite teams for requirements and issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright.
• Execute API testing and validation across multiple services.
• Perform end-to-end, regression, and integration testing across applications.
• Analyze defects and support timely resolution to meet release timelines.
• Collaborate with development, business, and onsite teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure quality gates and entry and exit criteria are followed.
• Support defect triaging and prioritization throughout testing cycles.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience with test data management and environment coordination.
• Experience with Playwright and Generative AI or Agentic AI.
