Full Stack Group Manager

The Full Stack Application Group Manageris a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards

• Architect Scalable Solutions:Design and architect secure, resilient, and high-performance full-stack applications capable of supporting complex Agentic AI workflows.
• Define Standards:Establish and enforce technical standards, design patterns, and best practices for full-stack development and AI agent integration across the organization.
• Technology Evaluation:Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, libraries, and tools to continuously evolve our technical stack and maintain a competitive edge.

• Hands-on Engineering:Lead and contribute to hands-on development across the entire application stack, ensuring clean, modular, and production-ready code.
• Frontend Excellence:Oversee the creation of highly responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces using
  React
  , Type Script, Tailwind CSS, and modern state management libraries.
• Robust Backend Services:Design and build scalable microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs using
  Python (FastAPI/Flask)and/or
  Java (Spring Boot).
• Data Management:Architect data models and integrate with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and No
  
  SQL/Vector databases (MongoDB, Couchbase, Milvus, or Pinecone) to support stateful AI operations.

• Orchestrate Autonomous Agents:Design and implement stateful, multi-turn, and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as
  Lang Chain, Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or Semantic Kernel
  .
• Arc Platform Integration:Deploy and manage agents on
  Arc
  , Citi's mandatory Agentic AI runtime, ensuring strict compliance with network policies, egress allow lists, and resource quotas.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP):Implement and consume
  MCP servers
  as the mandatory intermediaries to securely mediate agent calls to downstream business systems and databases.
• LLM Gateway Management:Integrate applications with
  R2 D2 (Citi's secure GenAI LLM gateway) to access models from Azure, Vertex, and Stellar, managing token usage, rate limits, and billing analytics.

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong managerbcapabilities with a track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical delivery.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex, ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment.

• Frontend:Deep expertise in
  React
  , Type Script, HTML5, CSS3,
• Backend:Advanced proficiency in
  Python
  (FastAPI, Flask, Celery) and/or
  Java
  (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Agentic AI:Proven experience with
  Lang Chain, Lang Graph. Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector embeddings, semantic search.
• APIs & Protocols:Strong experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, Web Sockets, and
  Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Cloud & Dev Ops:Hands-on experience with
  Kubernetes / Red Hat Open Shift
  , Docker, and CI/CD platforms (Harness, Jenkins, or Tekton).
• Security:Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts, including OAuth2, OIDC, TLS, Hashi Corp Vault etc
• Databases:
  
  Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and No
  
  SQL (MongoDB, Couchbase) databases.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
