Infosys is seeking a Full Stack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto/Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• A minimum of 6 years of full-stack development experience, with strong hands-on expertise across Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Angular.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, multithreading, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, dependency injection, application configuration, and automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, resiliency, security, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
• Strong expertise in Angular 11 or above, including components, directives, services, routing, forms, dependency injection, reusable modules, RxJS, observables, and application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with experience building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
• Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs and implementing end-to-end authentication, authorization, validation, state management, and error-handling workflows.

  SQL databases, data modelling, SQL, ORM frameworks, and integrating the persistence layer with Spring Boot services.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and front-end testing using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress, along with effective debugging and code-review practices.
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and application deployment; exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, messaging platforms, and cloud services is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute across front-end, back-end, integration, and deployment activities within cross-functional Agile teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
