Az City Driver - Weekend Position; Fri-Mon Logistics and Transportation

Through flexible delivery models, Ekkinox leverages the warehouse operations of Ekkinox Technical & Logistics Services or deploys Ekkinox teams on-site at client facilities. The capabilities of both Ekkinox affiliates cover the full logistics lifecycle, from warehousing and transportation to freight handling, packaging, kitting, and final shipment coordination.

Ekkinox is seeking experienced AZ drivers with at least 1+ years of local experience to work part-time doing city deliveries. This position is from Friday to Monday (Part-time). The deliveries and pick-ups will be within the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.

• Perform deliveries and pick-ups as per the dispatch needs
• Delivery using a pump truck or a tailgate
• Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck to transport freight per business needs
• Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing and pulling using a manual pump truck
• Ensure freight is secured properly in accordance with safety regulations
• Perform a hybrid of shunting & city work, especially over the weekend
• Perform inspections before and after each trip
• Ensure safe use of equipment
• Minimum 1+ years of verifiable AZ local experience
• Friday to Monday (AM) schedule available
• Updated CVOR and abstract
• Professional and safe attitude with excellent customer service

• Pay rate of $28.14/hour
• Friday to Monday schedule, home daily, AM shift
• Start time 8 AM (may change based on operational needs)
• Group insurance after 3 months of probation
• Weekly pay every Thursday by direct deposit
• RRSP with matching employer contributions
• Well-maintained trucks
