JOB DESCRIPTION

Ekkinox is seeking an experienced Outbound Departure Coordinator to work in our terminal in Mississauga, ON. The role involves managing the highway drivers, planning schedules, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining service quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Provide guidance and direction to highway drivers, single and team drivers
• Verify equipment and driver availability at the start of the shift
• Responsible for planning and upkeep of staffing for our customers weekly
• Responsible for planning and vacation tracking of the driver group
• Resolve any customer complaints and special requests from central dispatch
• Follow up on the previous day's issues and develop action plans for improvement on service failures/missing KPI (on time departure)
• Monitor and provide employee evaluations to the operations manager
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Operations manager
• Must have 2-3 years of experience in the transportation industry in dispatching
• AS400 experience is an asset

OFFER AND BENEFITS

• Salary between $65,000-$74,000
• Monday to Friday- start time 3 PM to 11:30 PM
• Group insurance after 3 months of probation
