Shipping Office Coordinator

Armor People Link is looking for a Shipping Office Coordinator for our client based out in Mississauga. The key role of the person will be to ensure the timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is more than just a desk job-you'll be part of a team that values growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
Keep freight moving-ensure smooth and timely process flow.
Accurately enter and maintain data in our operational system.
Track, trace, and report on shipment files.
Handle client and vendor billing with accuracy and speed.
Coordinate with customers to arrange shipments that meet high service standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
Ensure compliance with all internal, external, and government regulations.
Look for opportunities to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
Stay on top of KPIs and SOPs to keep operations running at their best.
Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
Escalate issues when necessary and uphold company policies with pride and integrity.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday (4:00 PM-12:00 AM and must be flexible to work for longer hours)
Pay Rate: $19 - $21 depending upon the experience + 4% vacation pay
Eligibility:
At this time, this role is open only to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents
Requirements: 
What We're Looking For
An operational background in shipping/logistics.
Experience in Domestic Transportation or dispatch (preferred but not required).
A self-starter who's motivated, organized, and adaptable.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word).
6 months to 1 year of related experience-or a strong willingness to learn and grow!
