Forklift Operator - Shipping​/Receiving Clerk

We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to work as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with our client in Mississauga, ON.

Pay:
Up to $28.00/hour

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm plus overtime hours

Responsibilities:
- Operating the Counterbalance forklift to move cargo and load/unload different sizes of wood (i.e. 16' lengths of lumber) and wood crates to/from trucks  flatbeds
- Entering  updating the system (WMS) with orders and warehouse activity
- Communicating with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Valid forklift license
- Previous experience operating the Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar facility
- Experience handling large products with a forklift
- Comfortable operating the forklift in tight spaces
- Comfortable working in a busy facility
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work Monday-Friday on the day shift
