Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Position: Counterbalance Forklift Operator Role
Join DECAST as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator, where you'll play a key role in managing inventory for Canada's largest infrastructure manufacturer. Work in a state-of-the-art facility, handling materials daily.

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll work under the direction of the Yard Supervisor. Your tasks will include loading and unloading infrastructure products and raw materials, planning product shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. You must possess excellent coordination and communication skills to work efficiently in a busy yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load infrastructure products for customer deliveries

• Stage products for shipment according to safety procedures

• Operate forklift for removing and relocating stock

• Collaborate with Yard associates and drivers effectively

• Perform safety checks on all equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of machinery experience required

• Excellent communication and courtesy with others

• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

• Familiarity with workplace safety guidelines

• Must wear appropriate protective equipment daily
