Overview

Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is the world’s largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services for the airline industry. We are hiring Food Stores Personnel to work in our flight kitchen located at Toronto International Airport.

• Receive incoming shipments.
• Stock pantries and kitchen areas.
• Fill requisitions.
• Count products for accurate inventory.
• Read and write reports in English.
• Communicate with supervisors and co‑workers.
• Follow directions and work as part of a team.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving a forklift (previous forklift experience is a plus).
• Experience working in cold environments is a robust asset.
• Must pass a criminal background check and airport fingerprinting.
• Must be able to work assigned schedule, which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays, and overtime when required.
• Must arrive to work on-time.
• Must complete required paperwork.

• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
• Will work in temperatures of 30°F (−1°C) or lower for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
