Drive for the premiere ready‑mix provider. Join Amrize Canada Inc., a leader in the Ontario construction industry. You will be a dedicated Class AZ or DZ driver responsible for safe and timely delivery of concrete to job sites in and around Arthur, Ontario and surrounding areas.
What You’ll Accomplish- Safely transport and deliver ready‑mix concrete to iconic infrastructure and residential projects.
- Operate late‑model, well‑maintained Class AZ or DZ trucks (mainly automatic transmission), performing pre/post‑trip inspections to ensure road readiness.
- Serve as a professional brand ambassador on‑site, fostering strong relationships with customers.
- Champion a zero‑harm culture by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Take advantage of internal promotion opportunities and professional development.
- Perform daily inspections of assigned ready‑mix trucks and document findings.
- Load and unload concrete according to strict safety procedures and customer mix specifications.
- Maintain digital/manual delivery logs and complete project paperwork.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communication, continuous improvement, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Valid Class AZ or DZ driver’s license with an Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Proven experience operating manual transmissions.
- Previous experience in construction delivery or heavy vehicle operation is an asset; training is provided for those new.
- Clean driving record (CVOR/Abstract) and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including climbing truck ladders and lifting chutes up to 50 pounds.
- Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with Saturdays and evenings as required.
- Must meet requirements for distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of approved PPE, including respirators; must be clean‑shaven where respirator seal meets the face for fit tests.
