AZ Driver - Temporary

Location

445 Export Blvd, Mississauga, ON - Derry and 410 (Labatt Mississauga Warehouse)

Approximately $26.50–28.30 per hour. Regular pay: $24–28 per hour (piece work). Bonuses: $2.50–3.50 per hour paid in lump sums. Additional $1.28 per hour per KPI.

Work week variations:
Mon‑Fri / Sun‑Thu / Tue‑Sat / Wed‑Sun. New employees start afternoons (2–4PM) for at least 6months.

• Engage in physical activities and manual labor including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling, and bending.
• Lift objects up to 80lbs.
• Climb ladders or stairs.
• Work on slippery floors.
• Lifting objects higher than the shoulders.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Handle vibration exposure.
• Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection (jewelry must be removed).
• Work shift‑work (day, afternoon, and midnight).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year accident‑free AZ licensed driving experience.
• Provide recent CVOR and clean driver’s abstract.
• Manual transmission driving preferred.
• Operate 53‑foot quad‑axle trailers.
• Experience with B trains is an asset.
• Operate 13‑speed manual transmission and maintain legal driver’s Electronic Log (Geotab).
• Familiar with Ontario geography.
• Experience with heavy haul applications and material handling equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Monthly beer allotment.
• Opportunity to max out driver hours every weekend with paid overtime (time‑and‑a‑half or double time).
• Unionized position with full‑time hours; uniforms provided (pants, shirts, jackets, PPE, boots).
• Very consistent schedule (daily start/finish time).
• Activity‑based pay and a monthly/quarterly bonus.
• Full‑time unionized positions with benefits available after the probation period (usually after 10–12months).
• Pay increases after joining full‑time unionized position (approximately 7.5% rate increase). Additional opportunities for growth and paid incentives.
