Vice President Transportation at Canadian Tire

Lead Canadian Tire’s Transportation function as a strategic Vice President. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing product flow from global vendors to stores and eCommerce.

As a key leader, you will drive the comprehensive transportation strategy spanning ocean, rail, drayage, and road networks. Your expertise in TMS, analytics, and optimization tools will enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve real-time visibility across the supply chain. With a strong focus on carrier management and performance, you will ensure compliance and advance sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-time, in-full service performance to stores

• Optimize transportation cost targets and identify savings

• Strengthen carrier performance and contractual outcomes

• Advance TMS and data capabilities for visibility

• Lead end-to-end transportation strategy globally

Requirements:

• 12–15+ years in transportation or supply chain leadership

• Expertise in global transportation modes (ocean, rail, trucking)

• Proven track record in carrier negotiations

• Strong financial management acumen

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
