Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role for a transportation and logistics professional who understands both the operational and commercial sides of the business.
The Manager, Transportation & Logistics will oversee a department responsible for coordinating freight movement, supporting revenue goals, managing carrier and customer relationships, leading team performance, and maintaining a high standard of service. The work touches multiple areas of the supply chain, including domestic transportation, cross-border freight, FTL, LTL, transload, intermodal movement, 3PL activity, load brokering, and dispatch coordination.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants more than a maintenance role. The successful candidate will be expected to look at the department with a business owner’s mindset: where service can improve, where costs can be controlled, where carrier relationships can be strengthened, where reporting can become more useful, and where the team can be better supported.
