Air Export Operations Coordinator

Position: AIR EXPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Main Responsibilities  Major responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Air Export Freight operations, including coordinating, picking up, CERS, booking, issuing AWB, tracking, delivery, billing, closing
Air Export Freight sales quotations as needed, including prioritizing requests by urgency and following up on quotations to collect feedback
Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the Manager (for example, distributing incoming requests)
Interact and work with remote freight teams on a daily basis
Stay abreast of current and upcoming regulations
Maintain excellent relations with clients and agents
Main Requirements   At least 3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry
Excellent working knowledge of export and import air freight movements
CIFFA certified is an asset
Knowledge of Steamship line and NVOCC contracts and other online pricing tools – asset
Proficiency with computers is a must; advanced knowledge of Excel
Solid communication skills (French written and verbal are assets)
Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented
Must be a pro‑active and solutions-focused team player
Ability to prioritize time effectively
Energetic, pro‑active, and keen learner
Proven teamwork skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills
